My son Travis is working on his Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge for scouts... In light of all the wildfires that have broken out in LA, Travis' troop leader thought it was the perfect time to educate the kids about emergency planning. (My heart goes out to everyone affected by these fires... And to now be faced with the possibilities of landslides?? It's so devastating!) Hallmark-Crestview during a disaster

Hello BHCIA: With the ongoing fires in SoCal, I'm sure we're all reminded that we're in a very similar danger zone. The Wildfire Preparedness page was super helpful. I do have a question about the gate at the Hallmark-Crestview junction: is there a disaster plan for that gate? Will it be opened and allow a new escape route if the Ralston end is closed? Or if San Carlos residents need an escape route through Hallmark? Thanks.

sidewalk Repairs

Hello Lauren Gharda (Vice President). Date: January 10, 2024 We live at 2561 Somerset Drive in Belmont. We really would appreciate if you would give us some direction to go in this matter. We have completed the required repair work on our sidewalk..Your association conveyed to us and to other Belmont residents that a permit would not be required if the work was completed within 90 days. We called the Public Works Department. They informed us that your information of no Building permit needed is incorrect. They have no information about the 90 day lead time. They would like to know who gave you that information from their department so they can follow up. Please let us know who that person is, and if you have a letter from the Public Works Department stating that information. We would like to clear this up. Please let us what to do next. Hello BHCIA, I just signed up and paid for the 2025 Membership, having thought that this amount included the $15 membership and $10 curbside painting. I now just realized that in order to have the curbside painting job done in this mid-November, I should have signed up for the 2024 Membership.
