BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
In past years, our voluntary annual dues have been in the modest amount of $15 per household, and are spent on the following key initiatives:
1) Beautifying our neighborhood, (which has earned us Chamber of Commerce Awards in the past) including the planting of over 2,000 daffodil bulbs in the neighborhood over the past four years; along with the addition of benches at some of our ‘vista points’.
2) Assisting in raising BHCIA’s credibility in representing our collective interests with the Belmont City Council and other public agencies.
3) Publishing of documents like the Membership Directory, and the quarterly Newsletter, that discusses key neighborhood-specific topics.
4) Sponsoring events like the 5K Fun Run at the competitive cross country course we have next to us in the Open Space.
5) This www.bhcia.org website which is a resource for finding out who to contact regarding issues, and when and where to join us for meetings.
For those of you who are long-time residents---we value you so highly---and hope that you know that your $15 each year makes a real difference in our neighborhood. For homeowners who are newer to Belmont Heights and Belcrest Garden, or if you haven’t supported the Improvement Association in the past, we ask for your support and want you to know why you should continue and/or consider joining during the annual drive.
